The Airds Hotel is family run accommodation, restaurant and more all situated on the edge of Loch Linnhe in Oban amongst the stunning, romantic scenery of the Scottish West Highlands. All guest beds are covered in Frette clothe and each room includes en-suite, flat screen satellite TV, DVD, a complimentary Whisky decanter, daily newspapers. The hotel restaurant has won numerous awards over recent years and provides a wonderful view of Loch Linnhe. Similarly, afternoon tea can be taken in the lounges or conservatory and is served all day. There is the option of a full Scottish breakfast each day. Vegetarian and allergy menus are available and given adequate notice the head chef will accommodate any dietary requirements. The restaurant can seat a maximum of 40 guests whilst buffet style dining can bring capacity up to 50. There is a garden in front of the hotel that runs down to the loch and offers a wonderful backdrop for holding events or dining al fresco. The hotel holds a wedding license allowing you to have the ceremony at the hotel. Guests may choose between one of two comfortable lounges with large cosy sofas nestle by an open log fire, one of which offering many books on the shelves, or for children there is also a good supply of board games, whilst fresh flowers complete the scene in both lounges.
