Great Apts.

27 June 2008
Just got back from a week at the Aguazul and had a great holiday. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children and the Aguazul was in an excellent location, just a few mins stroll from all the bars, restaurants, shops & amusements. The Aguazul was spotless and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. While we were there, the pool bar closed at 7pm but on our last night, started opening till late with entertainment. I can highly recommend these apartments and would definately return.

Great Trip

23 June 2008
We had a great trip to Lanzarote recently and stayed in these apartments not far from the Casino. The far side of the main street seemed to have a lot of hills so we were pleased to avoid those! The apartment was larger than I had expected and the whole complex was spotless. Small things such as having wine glasses, an oven and a kettle (most apartments don’t have these) helped. The staff were really friendly and overall we had a completely hassle free holiday.

I`ve just got back from Lanzarote and I had a wonderful time there. The aparthotel Aguazul it`s lovely, great apartments, spacious and well decorated, the service is really good and the location is the best of all, you`ll find a supermarket just around the corner, also there`s a very good restauraurant and pizzaria next to the hotel, the strip of bars and restaurants are only 10 mins away and also the beach of Playa Grande it`s only a 15 mins walk from the hotel. The swimming pool area is a must!... Great area, lovely food and service! Everything in this Aparthotel made my holiday fabulous, We loved so much and the weather was amazing that we already thinking to go back next year. I definitely reccomend this Aparthotel for families and also couples, good value for money.

Great Value

05 November 2007
Just come back from half term week's holiday. The apartments are excellent value for money. Plenty of room for 2 + 2. Don't take many clothes as there there is a wonderful spacious drying room in the apartment. We didn't pack any towels either as you get fresh ones daily, which we used at the beach and pool. Only a 5 minute walk to main strip of shops ,bars, restaurants etc. Try catching the local bus into the old town/harbour area, there's an excellent shopping centre and lovely restaurants. Nice beach 10 mins walk with clear clean water, safe for small kids. The aquapark in costa teguise is ok but starting to show it's age a bit. A must for the kids is Rancho Texas park which they'll love. Also a must is the South Island tour to see the volcano-highlight of the holiday, but my advice is if you've got small kids take the shorter tour-it was ideal for keeping their interest. My kids loved the camel ride which is an exta 10 euros per camel but well worth it. My wife & I haven't laughed so hard in ages to see the kids bopping along on the camel in front of us. Taxis are also very reasonable e.g 12ish euros to airport. Staff are all very friendly and helpful . The pool area was great. All in all, an excellent family holiday in pleasing apartments in a good resort.

End of Sept 2007

03 October 2007
Stayed at apartment last week of Sept 2007, the apartments are well located with only a 3 minute walk to bars and restaurants and not much further for the main beach areas. Although quite near to the main areas the location itself is quiet. Handily placed are a Spar supermarket across the road and a Neto's around the corner. The complex is well looked after, rooms cleaned daily (except Sunday) to a high standard and reception staff very helpfull. Taxi's to and from the airport cost about 12 Euros each way. All in all excellent value for money.

Excellent Apts

02 October 2007
Just back from a lovely one week stay in the Aguazul Apartments. Given the excellent price of these apartments I did not expect them to be as good as they were. The apartment itself was really spacious with full equiped kitchen including full oven, kettle, toaster etc. they were extremely clean and out of the 7 days we were there the cleaners must have been in at least 6 times with clean towels every second day. the pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds and the pool itselt was great and not too deep. Pool bar was also great with a great selection on the menu with food served all day long. i do beleive there is a bar and restaurant underneath the pool area however this seemed shut down for the week, no sure if this is because it was out of peek season or what the reason was. however considering the apartments were so centrally located iwth a quick five min walk to centre of town this was not a huge problem. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly with great english. All in all i found these apartments excellent value for money and would not hesitate to return again.

Loved Aguazul

28 August 2007
Would recommend the Aquazul. Very central location but not noisy except for occasional nights entertainment from apartments opposite can be heard. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful, booked trips for us and also car hire. On my birthday even left bottle of wine and card in the apartment for me. Apartments are comfortable and cleaned 5 times a week with clean towels provided. 3 minute walk to beaches and main strip. Walk to harbour in 30 minutes. Frequent bus service from bottom of road. Aquazul has swimming pool, also kids club and evening entertainment and restaurant plus more. When return to Lanzarote will definately stay at Aquazul again, excellent value for money.

The complex and apartments were excellent and very clean. The kiddies club only opens from 10 - 2 monday to friday. The one day she decided to go the playroom was open but with no supervision and after that it was closed due to illness. The nightly entertainment was sparse and even cancelled one night due to poor attendance. The bar also closed early. Cannot comment on the food, eat out or in the apartment. There is a Spar just across the road. The staff were friendly and helpfully. Would stay agian if the entertainment was better.

Would go back again!!

08 August 2007
Stayed in the Aguazul for 2 weeks at the end of July. Apartments are very central. During our stay the cleaners were in most days with towels , clean sheets etc and kept the whole complex very clean. Restaurant food was quite good as was the poolside bar. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was the fact that there is no air conditioning which would have been nice over a couple of days that we stayed. Would stay here again in the future.

Review of 'Aguazul'

16 January 2007
We stayed in the Aguazul apartments from the 30th December 2006 until 6th January 2007.  We were staying in a one bedroomed apartment with breakfast included.  Breakfast was served in the pool bar and there were a number of options to choose from and it had the added advantage of being available until 12 o'clock.  The pool bar had a lovely range of food available all day.  Because we booked through alpharooms, we received on arrival, 3 complimentary tickets to the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner (which included wine)in the restaurant on site.  The meal was lovely and we thought it was a lovely gesture.  The pool area is kept very clean and there were plenty of sunbeds available.  The apartment was very clean and spacious.  There was a kettle, toaster and coffee maker (items which we have had to rent when staying in other (more expensive) complexes.  There was also a pay for view t.v. which had an english movie channel which kept my daughter very happy. We had a really large balcony overlooking the kiddies pool/play area.  There was a kiddies club and lovely play area for the kids on site.  My daughter (10) did not attend the kiddies club but I seen a number of children going to the club when it was open.  The Aguazul is very central (only 5 mins walk from the main strip) but it is very quiet and peaceful where it is located.  The staff were all very friendly and helpful.  The restaurant on-site is lovely and the food there on New Year's Eve was gorgeous but I do think it is a bit expensive in comparison to prices of other restaurants/pubs in Puerto Del Carmen.  I think if they reduced the prices a bit they would have a lot more people staying in the complex at night both to eat and for the entertainment.  Overall we had a brilliant holiday and we would definitely return to the Aguazul in the future.

Review of 'Aguazul'

18 September 2006
Myself, my wife and another couple spent a week in the Aquazul apts and had a wonderful holiday.  The apartments were exceptionnaly clean and serviced everyday.  Linen changed twice and towels three times during the week.  The reception staff were very helpful with taxis and recommending restaurants and places of interest.  The drag show in the Music Tavern was an excellent night out.  The pool area was very clean and tidy and the surrounding areas was washed down everyday.  Taxis were cheap and the resort was very lively with many choices for bars, restaurants, trips and shopping.  We found great bargins in the local shopping centre in the old town.  The restaurant on site was very nice with nightly entertainment but this was more for the older couple.  Lovely play area for kids and enoyed the aqua aerobics. Would recommend the Aquazul as a central location within easy walking distance to the main strip and beach (and no steep hills).  Will certainly be back.

Review of 'AGUAZUL'

04 April 2005
We spent two weeks in the Aguazul at the beginning of January 2005 with our 4 children. The apartments were spacious and clean, basic but we had everything we needed! The staff were always very friendly and when our 4 kids got a 'foreign tumm' bug on the same night(!) they were more than helpful and arranged that house keeping would come and leave plenty more clean towels and linen, which were by then greatly appreciated! There was a lovely playground for the kids, a kiddies club every day where the kids reps played games and held parties with them. They even took them all to the local safari park! There is a pub, The Poitin Stil on the grounds which has great family entertainment nightly and a pool bar offering snacks and drinks during the day. It is a 5 minute stroll to the strip or a four euro taxi ride. I thoroughly enjoed our holiday here and will definitely be going back!!
