What our customers say
Just returned from Menorca (6 June 2009) and thankfully the Agamenon lived up to expectations. We had 4 nights on the other side of the island - Cala Blanca and then caught the local bus to Mahon(4 euros 55 for an hours journey) and chilled out at the Agamenon for 3 nights. Yes it is quiet and the residential blocks overlooking the pool are a bit of a blot on the landscape - however the views from the hotel balconies and the restaurant/lounge areas more than make up for this. We had a corner room (411) and the view was fab - very nice to relax with a pre dinner glass of wine watching all the yachts come in every evening. We only booked B & B as we prefer to go out to eat in the evenings - breakfast was very good with a great selection of food and civilised hours 07.30-10.30. Pool towels are provided at reception. There is a minibar- we managed to put our own water and wine in after a shelf re-arrangement! We walked into Mahon and locally into Es Castells. Restaurants are plentiful and most do a set menu averaging between 12 and 18 euros per person -3 courses, wine and bread. Would definitely return.
