Hotel Acuario is situated in the residential area of San Antonio, just one and a half kilometers from the nearest sandy beach and the resort centre, with its array of shopping and entertainment venues. The Acuario boasts fantastic views over Mountain Teide and Puerto de la Cruz and due to its excellent location it is particularly popular with couples and young holiday makers who seek simple yet friendly accommodation with good levels of service. The guest rooms are comfortable and well appointed with all of the modern amenities you would expect of a hotel of its class. Guests can enjoy some mouth watering dishes in the hotel’s two restaurants, which serve international cuisine, while during the day the poolside bar serves light snacks and refreshments to accompany lazy days by the pool. The inviting outdoor swimming pool offers an idyllic spot to spend lazy days in the sun and for those guests wishing to venture outside the hotel, there is also a complimentary bus service to the resort centre.

The hotel was very well sign posted so it was easy to find. It is a very good 2 star hotel which is very clean and we had plenty of clean towels. There is a lovely pool with plenty of sunbathing areas and sunbeds. There is also a T.V room, internet, pool table, dart board, but we didn´t see the sauna and wasn´t wanting to use it. The food is very good value for money with a wide variety for breakfast and dinner but is mainly spanish but you can have a cooked english breakfast to start the day. Only draw back some might find it is a distance from the beach but there are taxis so a car is a lot easier. I would certainly recommend it as it is very clean, comfortable and plenty of good food!
