The Acapulco is a family run hotel that offers everything you could want for a great holiday. Situated in the main hotel area of Lloret and surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants the complex features swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), a garden and a small recreational area for children. All guestrooms were renovated in 2002 and offer telephone, satellite TV, bathroom, balcony and optional hire minibar/fridge.

I was travelling alone in the off-season, and spent only the nights in the hotel as I have plenty of relatives living nearby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Since I had booked a single room, at very low cost (around 15 pounds a night in sterling terms), I didn't expect luxury. I found the foam mattress rather primitive - I trust they are of a better standard in the double rooms! But as I suffer from a bad back, I found that this turned out to my advantage. The breakfasts were good, and the overall cleanlinss exceptional. Remember that this hotel is in Clubland, and you won't be too upset by the noise in high season! What's more, Lloret is a lovely town, when you explore the less-frequented corners, with a super seafront and good bus connections to Blanes, Barcelona, and Girona.
