I was travelling alone in the off-season, and spent only the nights in the hotel as I have plenty of relatives living nearby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Since I had booked a single room, at very low cost (around 15 pounds a night in sterling terms), I didn't expect luxury. I found the foam mattress rather primitive - I trust they are of a better standard in the double rooms! But as I suffer from a bad back, I found that this turned out to my advantage. The breakfasts were good, and the overall cleanlinss exceptional. Remember that this hotel is in Clubland, and you won't be too upset by the noise in high season! What's more, Lloret is a lovely town, when you explore the less-frequented corners, with a super seafront and good bus connections to Blanes, Barcelona, and Girona.

On arrival we were squeezed into an obviously small room (2 adults and 2 children). The room was on a main throroughfare and was extremely noisy. No air conditioning made it more unsufferable. After upgrading the room at an extra cost it was better. Not a place for families with young children although clean and friendly. Beware, the sunbeds get toweled early in the morning and are hogged all day. Altogether not bad value.

Very clean but basic hotel. Situated in an ideal location for bars but this makes it very noisy throughout the night and you can't sleep much in the day as surrounding hotels blast out music. Pool only gets the sun from after midday. Not a great deal of choice at meal times. Hotel great for cleanliness but don't expect much sleep!

The hotel Acapulco was a nice hotel situated on one of the main streets in Lloret de Mar. We did also ask for a Double room and got a twin, but most hotel rooms when you travel to foreign countries are like this so it did not bother us. The hotel was clean and the rooms and the bathrooms were lovely. The maid service was excellent, they came in each day to make the beds, and tidy up and also brought in clean towels. The balconies are overlooked as they are all side by side, but this was ideal for us as our friends were staying next door so we could go out onto the balcony to talk to them. The Hotel Don Juan is quite close to the Acapulco hotel and has exercise classes every day at 10.00 am and the music is very loud, so for those travellers staying up till the early hours and expecting to have a lie in you may not be quite so lucky!
We were half board and the food was lovely. However, drinks were not provided but we did not really expect this. This hotel was very reasonably priced and we were really impressed with the services for the cost of our stay there.
Enjoy!

Unbeliable that hotel have get 3 stars. Rooms don´t have aircondition or even fan, so it is really hot in room. Basic products as soap and shower gel are not included in your rooms, you have to go and buy those things. Our reservation was for double room but they gave us twin room and when I asked about it they said that they are sorry but it is high season and hard to arrange douple rooms for everybody who want, like our reservation wasn´t for douple room. We also had Full Board from hotels restaurant, and what was unbeliable for me was that Full Board did not include any drinks, even to get water with your meal you have to pay extra.
I would not go again to that Hotel and don´t recomment it to anyone.
